Solid Combo- Recommend

Purchased Crixus bait caster combo earlier this spring as an extra combo to bring on a fly-in trip in Canada. We ended up finding smallies on beds and I pretty much used this combo exclusively for the whole trip when targeting bass. Cast is extremely smooth and I was able to get my lure to the beds before my boat partner because what he was using couldn’t cast as far. So far the Crixus has proven to be extremely durable. We were putting 10-12 hour days of fishing. The medium action rod made for strong hooksets and I boated so many beautiful smallmouth. Thanks Kast King!

REEL GRIPS FALL APART AFTER THE FIRST HOUR OF USE

Rod is beautiful and works well. Went out first day with it and caught a bass within a hour. Within that hour however the reel handle grips are already falling apart. Absolutely unacceptable quality. The reel and rod themselves work well but the grips are horrible. I will be contacting customer service and seeking warranty help to resolve the issue.

This is my favorite pole my wife got it for me and it is a beast I've landed bowfin out the river some small blues off a peir and some bluegill in the creek. I've only had i two weeks and been fishing twice I've never owned a bait caster and what's really intimidated at first because everybody's saying, how technical it is to use man. I got that thing, and it's like I'd been throwing out my whole life. Great instructions on how to set the reel up even better. Instructions on how to clean it up. This is all around an awesome rod and real comfort combo.By
