Built with 420 stainless steel these pliers are not only corrosion resistant but they are also very durable. For extra protection we have also coated these pliers with a tough Teflon coating which creates a hard outer shell to protect against damage and corrosion.
Tungsten carbide side cutters can easily cut mono, fluorocarbon, and braided lines. These anvil style cutter blades resist rust and the side cutters allow you to cut close to knots when needed. Designers have also incorporated a raised surface behind the blade to eliminate the problem of your line dropping below the cutting zone.
Fine serrated jaws near the tip and coarser serrations need the back of the jaws allow you to find the ideal grip for multiple wire diameters. Grooved slots near the back of the jaws are ideal for crimping sleeves for a leader or attaching split shot weights to fishing line. Available in both a straight nose and a Split ring nose design.

In desperate need of new pliers, I jumped online and picked up these stainless steel pliers that come with a holster and lanyard. I attached them to the back of my kayak, so I always know where they are. First day out used them to let free a ladyfish, and hook a snook, and cast off a sail cat. they work great.
Wanted to love these. Love the KastKing braid. Picked the pliers up on a sale end of last season. First time out, with the lanyard clipped to my belt and not even the holster, after around a dozen in/out of the holster BOTH rivets that hold the plastic clip to the fabric holster let go. Useless now. Do not recommend.
I recently just received my last king “Cutthroat” pliers and instantly began to use them. The grips are completely awesome! Size and weight is perfect. Not to small like other products, or flimsy. Allot of detail went into this product. I was going back forth with other products, that was more cost effective but I’m glad I went with Kastking.
Haven't had any problems with it staying on my bag. No complaints. Clipped my line, clamped and unclamped a split shot, and pulled a hook from an aquatic creatures face. A+
Has nice grips and a sturdy, highly-functional business end. The holster is especially nice because you can clip it over your waistline if you don't wear a belt, a very useful function. The carbiner and tether/leash keep it from falling in the water if you unexpectedly have to let go for any reason
These are the best fishing pliers on the market. They are extremely handy on my fishing trips. Excellent at cutting even the toughest of fishing line. Very handy pulling the hooks out of my catches too. I highly recommend these pliers if you want great quality at an affordable price.
