Cheap piece of crap. I bought two of these on the second day of using them all the fake leather material on the cranking knobs is flaked off and the cheap rubberish grip on the rod is peeling off I would never buy another one of these

This is my favorite pole my wife got it for me and it is a beast I've landed bowfin out the river some small blues off a peir and some bluegill in the creek. I've only had i two weeks and been fishing twice I've never owned a bait caster and what's really intimidated at first because everybody's saying, how technical it is to use man. I got that thing, and it's like I'd been throwing out my whole life. Great instructions on how to set the reel up even better. Instructions on how to clean it up. First bait caster setup

I’ve been hesitate on trying my first bait caster for I have been using an open face reel my entire life. After watching a couple YouTube videos of how to set pool tension, and breaking. I am blown away for how smooth this set up casts and reels. A backlash is possible, but it is usually proceeded by a complete mess up on my part. I am in love with this thing. I’ve never been able to cast as far and smooth with such accuracy my entire life. I’m probably 250 casts in on the Crixus and I’m beyond impressed! I’ve already ordered another set up.
