Centron Lite Baitcaster Rod and Reel Combo

Got this for my 12 year old son and it's time to get into bait casters. Anyone ever used one knows how discouraging the back lash (birds nest) can be. It really is hard to backlash. Makes fishing that more enjoyable not cutting or untangleing for half the trip. I tried it in the yard and flung it as hard as I could (after setting it) and never put my thumb down on a 40' cast. Will be returning for the other son and wife next.

Seen all the videos saying how hard it was to birds nest, been fishing a baitcaster for years, order this thing, put some suffix braided line on it, and first cast, horrible birds nest. User error. I clear it, change the lure, try it against. Worse birds nest. This isn’t a close to a premium reel. The combo isn’t worth the $70 or whatever deal you get it for. Idk how indicative this is of their other products, but I can sling my Revo around and have no issues. This thing is trash.

I was hearing reviews saying its a whatever baitcaster but to me its amazing its just as good as ur 209 dollar slx dc just without the noise. Its beautiful and catches beautiful fish

I love it, it was really smooth, I do recommend it if your looking for a new fishing rod. It is really light and its definitely worth the price.

Rod is decent. I got the 7 foot fast medium heavy. i’ve got several bass on it last week and I enjoyed it very much. Definitely worth the money.
