Centron Lite Travel Baitcaster Fishing Rod and Reel Combo

I picked this combo up for a travel rod and boy, does it deliver. It came in a simple cloth travel case which makes breakdown and storage convenient to throw inside the truck. The rod itself is a pretty good all around rod for most baits. Sensitive enough for almost all I throw (small jerkbaits, crankbaits, wacky, etc). The reel is really smooth and has a nice, smooth drag. Also has a great brake with 10 settings. I find 3-4 is about perfect for my setup. The extra tip piece for the rod is also a nice extra.

While I personally dont really care for the white on blue color aesthetic, my wife loves it. Shes already eyeing it as hers... Threw on some Beyond Braid in the Blue Wave color and they pair really nicely. Too bad the bass cant appreciate it like we do.

Rod and real both seem of really good quality for the money. Rod is lightweight but stiffness is good. I went with the medium action 6,6.
The sections fit together really tight and have a nice little dot to line them up. This will be great to leave in the truck or to take on vacation.

The set breaks down very small and will be easy to transport. The reel is extremely smooth and casts great. The rod feels very secure but sensitive even with all the joints.
