Big backpack, plenty of room and tackle boxes are a great bonus
Grandson loves his fishing gear
FINALLY a good fishing bag for a decent price! I bought this to house all of my offshore fishing gear. The bag is very robust. I keep 90% of all of my trolling setups, terminal tackle, and safety gear in this bag as i tend to move from boat to boat. It holds 4 large tackle trays in the bottom compartment but its deep so you can also stack leader and other things in front or behind the trays. It is pretty big if you're going to be carrying it long distances because of the amount of stuff you can put in it and the weight. I would 100% buy this bag again for the purpose im using it for. If you want to carry a ton of tackle but don't carry the bag on your back all day then this is the bag for you!
Good
Skeptical about the money but for a guy that keeps a couple rods and a tackle box due to working near the lake all the time I went ahead and got it. I did also get the extra 2 Kastking trays Amazon suggested and they do fit in the bottom with the divider up. A tad snug but no problems taking them out or putting my them in with 6 trays total.
The top holds a spinner bait box, 1,000 yard spool of extra line, like 10 pouches of my soft baits with room to spare. I had my wallet, a large (wife’s size bottle) of sunblock, my wallet and more, also hiking it in yesterday. Couple little compartments all around and so far im pleased with how much it holds and the versatility. Seems well made. Good material. Probably can take anywhere for size and weight and I’d have most of my tackle on hand.
Been on 2 trips since purchased I’ve included some pics from each. First was a bass tournament I was on a Nitroboat and it rained pretty much Al morning on us. I need to figure out which compartments are more water resistant than others cause some stuff got a little damp. Considering it poured for hours nothing was too bad that couldn’t get wet. My wallet was damp but not drenched.
2nd trip was yesterday and I hiked in on some gated, game management roads to a point. I just had to hike off through the woods with bearings and no trail. The rod holders aren’t good for this and I had to carry 2 of my rods that didn’t collapse. On the gravel road no issue other than a couple of low limbs I wasn’t paying attention to. Included a pic with what it looked like with the 2, 6-6.5’ rods on the road bed. I’ll give it 5 stars
