Royale Legend Max 300 Baitcasting Reel

Sorry but I may just need to return this. I watched some dude talk about it but he left things out of his presentation unless I missed it!

Another rotten nest I see a slow drop when testing and it still backlashes major as my bait begins to get close to the water. The line comes off the spool nicely and u think that’s it , then as it slows down chances are you’ll be a cooked goose . If u just keep your thumb off the spool or you slow it down at the end big nest. There is a small round knob inside the plate cover I m not sure what it’s for but I’m thinking I need to know for sure. Try toinclude magnetic breaking on a new 300 if possible keep that bait clicker on it. I need it

No boat shore fisherman I really like my new royale 300 for Pije fishin. After day 2 and with adding nearly half spool of seaguar fluero with the remaining line. Due to 2 major backlashes. Partly my fault not paying attention . I lost close to 2 hrs downtime on these but I’ve cranked down on tension knob. And it’s less backlash. Think I got it dialed in but just as my bait is starting to fall is where I’m having the backlash. My last cast of the day no backlash. Just a bit of line pulling off it’s spoil then cranked it back in and waited for Mr pike. .

I’ve yet to really let it go and I believe I’ll set personal but then I don’t log those dtuffcasting distance records

Had a rod and reel yanked out of the boat. Got this reel with the bait clicker and yesterdat a 5lb channel took the bait reel worked great and it let me know when he was running with it. no lost rod and reel.

Bite clicker great for catfishing. Has some other great features. Like the V-spool.
