Spartacus II Plus Spinning Reel

Smooth as butter.

Great reel. Bought a second and now have the 4 piece ML 6' 6" and 2 piece ML 6', both are great rods that I would buy again. I had a Gloomis and a fenwick and im good with Kastking from now.

3000 size Spinning Reel I have purchased other KastKing products but this is my first reel. I also bought a 7’ Kastking Spartacus II Medium / Fast Rod to pair with this reel. I have it spooled with 20# braid. It functions like a well oiled machine and cast like a dream, butter smooth. It is comparable to big name brand reels which cost 5x more. I will be back for more Kastking products.

This is my second KK Spartacus II spinning reel and I can't say enough about the quality to price ratio. The drag on this reel is smooth and the line capacity provided is excellent. For me, the biggest benefit of this reel is the weight/size as compared to competitors, we use a number of heavier lures/jigs so having less weight on the reel side makes a long day of fishing a bit more comfortable. I have several different KastKing reels and have yet to be disappointed, rinse off with some fresh water at the end of the day and they hold up just as well as significantly more expensive reels currently on market.

This is by far my favorite spinning reel at this price. It has excellent built quality, lightweight in the 3000 size and after some heavy use, proven to be very durable. I put this Spartacus II Plus reel to the test this past weekend river fishing for trout and casting spinners. The drag setup is outstanding and easily handled the fight on several big brown trout including 3 that were 20+ inches. Many times I'm in water up to my waist and the reel got dunked when netting big trout. No worries with this reel since it has waterproof sealing to protect the inside. I highly recommend this Spartacus II Plus reel!

Very smooth, drag clicks are nice, and handle is comfortable. Great reel!!!!
