Speed Demon Elite Spinning Fishing Reel

So, I always used pflueger reels because that's what I grew up with, but over the years I've found them to be lacking in the durability & longevity department. Now I never got the most expensive ones, but I got decent ones like president xt. I wanted to upgrade. I was looking at 200+ reels from brands like daiwa and shimano. One of my buddies who used to be a penn guy got kastkings and swore by them. I was still dead set on spending the 200+. However, I eventually decided that maybe I shouldn't. Maybe I should give kastking a try. The speed demon sounded perfect and looked tough in the pictures. It's also around half the price of a couple reels I was considering. I'm very glad I got it. The construction is very impressive. The kastking makes a pflueger look like a toy. The shaft is solid. No bending and large slop like so many pflueger reels. I've had the speed demon a couple months now and love it so much. So glad I decided to give it a try. I feel extremely confident it will hold up longer than the pfluegers. I will definitely be buying more kastking reels in the future by the looks of it. Still have to see how it works out in the long run, but so far it has been one of my favorite fishing purchases. I love the retrieve speed and the drag is more than sufficient. Reel looks cool too. Inside and out. Take the reel apart and compare to other reels of similar cost and higher. Anybody can make something look cool on the outside, but it will be less than satisfactory underneath. BTW, I fish a lot. My reels see a lot of use and I don't really baby them. Not really broken in until you drop them or fall on them lol. Anyways, in conclusion, in my couple months use so far, I can't find a single bad thing to say about the reel and it is still as good as day one. Some reels woukd have already lost a piece or two. I'll come back after a year and let you know, and hey kastking, holler at me if you want a tester. I catch a lot of fish and a lot of species. Primarily focused on smallmouth bass, sauger, and flat heads, but will mix it up and go for just about any species. Panfish, carp, or whatever. Do all kinds of methods. Live bait, lures, trolling, glide baits, worms, dough, cut bait, or whatever. I'm Colin Mullins on facebook.

I was about to update my reels with a big name brand however the cost was outrageous. After watching a few demos, I had to try out the Speed Demon Elite. More reel for the money and casting was fast and flawless. I do plan on buying another reel from Kastking.

I love it. Fast and easy to cast.

Looks just like my other one; can't wait to use it to see if it works as well.I love it.
