Stainless Steel Guides w/O-Rings – Strong and durable stainless-steel guides are used on all models with premium O-ring inserts that perform perfectly with both mono or braided lines. The lightweight stainless frames look great and keep the weight down for a perfectly balanced rod blank.

Great rods, great service

I currently own three of these rods. Two of the lighter ones and one of the heavy. Say what you want about them but they are great rods with smooth reliable reels. I've only ever had 1 issue with a Kastking rod and they helped solve the problem almost immediately. I'll be buying a Kong next and hopefully a couple of heavier reels.

Very nice!

This was a gift. I had caught a 7 pound carp with this rod and reel combo but after fighting it for about 2 minutes, I heard a pop. The rod had broke clean at the 2nd to last guide. I kept the reel and just put it on a Shakespeare tiger rod, I am now catching huge 15 pound carp with out any issue. Luckily this wasn't a $150 rod and reel combo.
