Little hiccup with fedx, but excellent customer service and happy with my purchase
I received this combo (8 foot medium heavy spinning combo) and immediately knew the rod was too stiff for my liking. I emailed Kastking and they agreed to swap it out for a medium power model, even paid for shipping. Great. As for the equipment, the 4000 size Rekon feels very solid and has a very tight drag knob and bail wire. All quality. It's a combination of poly and glass so I hear, and feels very solid. The rod did feel quite strong, light, and has a very unique eva hand grip particular to this rod. Looking forward to getting some fish on it once the replacement rod comes in.
It's going on 3 weeks I been having this reel it's a 4k size. It has become one of my favorite reels. It handle a nice size black drum at least 36in it was lost do to netting error
Perfect for jetty fishing for lingcod and rock bass and whatnot. Very nicely made
