Very nice rod for the money, looks more expensive than it is and is fun to fish with. Lightweight, sensitive and one of my favorites to panfish with.
Purchased this to compare against another ultra light rod (5'6" Okuma) that I have because I wanted to see how a slightly longer rod would handle. I got the 6'2" fast ultra light and I absolutely love it! Caught a beauty of a 13" rainbow trout in current, handles baits of all weights very well and when paired with a Zephyr SFS reel, it balances perfectly. Extremely happy with this rod and haven't touched my other ultra light since e???
I have the one piece ultra light spinning rod, which I partner with the kestrel sfs, 8lb braid, fateez ned rig, went to Connecticut river and put 30 smallies in the boat today, just flawless, and the whole setup weighs about 10 ounces, for about $200, you can’t beat it!!!
