Kestrel Finesse Spinning Rod

I bought the 6'8" ultra light rod and 1000 spinning reel. This is an excellent combo. It is very sensitive and can cast 1/32 oz baits very easily. I did buy a 4-piece fly rod case to store it in and for travel, which it fits perfectly. I do have to take the reel off, but it fits where the fly reel would sit.

Honestly, i think these rods are best bang for buck you are gonna get period. Im a HUGE fan of this rod. Have them in the bfs realm as well. All i can say is how much FUN they are!!!

Caught this on the 6 foot 2 kestrel ultralight , paird with the zephyr size 500 reel and kast king 4lb mono, amazing products. HIGHLY recommend

Havent used the rod yet but first impressions are good. Rod is solid handle is comfortable, and the guides are solid. Looking forward to using it for trout this year and the 3 piece is really nice for traveling. Only downside so far it doesnt come with a travel case or rod sock. Honestly not that big of a deal to me. I will be ordering the travel casting version in the near future as well.

Was going to buy a 22 Shimano Soare UL, but this rod has an almost fly like dampening effect that really pops. Thanks for saving me a ton of money on a high quality rod.

Can’t say enough about this rod and the action. Perfect for my Sierra trout fishing.
