I truly enjoy the switch! When it's engaged, I can send my lure out and can immediately reel as soon as I let off the button! Smooth casting!

Nice reel

I absolutely love this reel it is very smooth but it will definitely backlash other wise I really like it

New to bait casters

Just bought this in February and have used it 3 times along with a Kast King rod, KastKing Crixus Fishing Rod 7’ heavy fast, and I am a true believer in this product. I put 20lb 8 braid black line on it. Casts beautifully with very little nesting. Honestly, the only time it’s come close is when I screw up the cast. That is operator error totally. Great combo and will invest in this product in the near future. Shipping was easy, fast and the packaging was perfect. I’ve used spinning reels my entire life but not anymore. This is my go to going forward.

Only problem I had was that I dropped it and scuffed it up. I love it and I would order another one.

Switching from Shimano Curado to Kastking - why?

I have curado DC....you know what they cost. I typically manage around 10 rods and needed quick adjustment features...kastking provides it in a reel with less dollars invested. Would like to see MegaJaws Elite for that 6.2: 1, that would complete line up for use of crankbaits....plus, make the spool a bit wider and deeper to hold more line and men with larger thumbs.
