Very smooth and casts very nice. Absolutely great reel for the price point.
I was truly surprised by the quality of this reel. I spooled it up with 12b KastKing fluorocarbon line and took it to a local pond. The brakes were easy to adjust and it cast a country mile. It operates smoothly and feels solid. I did not catch anything today but I will update this when I do.
I purchased 4 reels, 2 for me and 2 for my wife. I am pleased with the reels, my wife can cast these without backlash. I am getting her 2 more.
So far so good very nice color and very smooth using it on my flipping rod.
Casts well and retrieve is buttery smooth.
