KastKing Royale Legend II Spinning Fishing Reel

Fantastic!!

I use kastking reels exclusively for my fishing guide service, the royal legend ll for perch and other panfish although it can handle much larger fish with ease. Smooth casting highly reliable I have never had one give me any issues, I wouldn't consider using anything other than kastking , clients compliment the reels daily, for me its kastking all day everyday!!!

I am very impressed with this little spinning reel! Very sharp looking and a lot of quality for the $. I picked up the 3000 size. I already own several Kastking bait casting reels which have performed well, so I decided to try a low cost spinning version. The bail is strong and snappy, the drag is plenty strong, and it spooled line evenly. My only complaint, a small one which I easily overcame, is that my reel's retrieve was stiff outta the box. But I fixed that with 4-5 drops of fishing reel oil on the main shaft and gears. It is now buttery smooth. I can give the handle a quick spin and it will continue rotating another dozen revolutions at least. I've seen nothing to indicate I won't get several years out of this Royale Legend II, and have since ordered a second one!

use for ice fishing in a few weeks; seems smooth with decent drag. good price

So far, I'm loving this reel! Its been super smoother and I haven't had one issue with it. I've caught 30 or 40 stripers on it over the past 6 weeks or so and its worked flawlessly. Definitely will buy another one!
