Royale Legend Patriot Twin-Tip Spinning Rod and Reel Combo

I don’t regret this impulse purchase one bit, is it the best rod and reel I have no, but I bought this because KastKing had the gonadds to make this patriotic combo.

The Reel - super smooth feels great but the handle is not deserving of this reel and feel like the ball was dropped here, the handle has some flex to it, the white rubber just looks kinda cheap, also not crazy about the straight through shaft, I prefer how something like a Daiwa handles attach with a one piece crank.

The rod is ok again looks fantastic from a distance but up close the guide look kinda cheap, my wife has a KastKing Centron lite and the guides look much more rigid and just nicer looking in general.

Even with them drawbacks I mentioned I’m still giving this 5 stars because of the patriotism, I'm not actually fishing with this combo it’s solely a collector piece going on the wall. I would love to see the next patriot rod with better guides and crank I would glad pay for the upgrades.

These are not bass master fishing poles, but I'll tell you, these poles are the bomb. They look amazing. If you love America, then these are for you. They work just the same as those high dollar, over priced rigs you see from bass pro shop. The difference is some over paid celebrity signed his name to it to make you think it's better than anything out there. Thats advertising bullshit! I love kastking combos. They look great and perform flawlessly. I only order from kastking now. Just waiting for there Spartacus defender series to be restocked. I'll be ordering 4 more combos as soon as there back in stock.
