Royale Legend Patriot Twin-Tip Spinning Rod and Reel Combo

Looks great feels great is just great

I don’t regret this impulse purchase one bit, is it the best rod and reel I have no, but I bought this because KastKing had the gonadds to make this patriotic combo.

The Reel - super smooth feels great but the handle is not deserving of this reel and feel like the ball was dropped here, the handle has some flex to it, the white rubber just looks kinda cheap, also not crazy about the straight through shaft, I prefer how something like a Daiwa handles attach with a one piece crank.

The rod is ok again looks fantastic from a distance but up close the guide look kinda cheap, my wife has a KastKing Centron lite and the guides look much more rigid and just nicer looking in general.

Even with them drawbacks I mentioned I’m still giving this 5 stars because of the patriotism, I'm not actually fishing with this combo it’s solely a collector piece going on the wall. I would love to see the next patriot rod with better guides and crank I would glad pay for the upgrades.

These are not bass master fishing poles, but I'll tell you, these poles are the bomb. They look amazing. If you love America, then these are for you. They work just the same as those high dollar, over priced rigs you see from bass pro shop. The difference is some over paid celebrity signed his name to it to make you think it's better than anything out there. Thats advertising bullshit! I love kastking combos. They look great and perform flawlessly. I only order from kastking now. Just waiting for there Spartacus defender series to be restocked. I'll be ordering 4 more combos as soon as there back in stock.

Since my purchase of the new KastKing Royale Legend Patriot Twin-Tip combo it’s honestly become one of my favorite "grab-and-go" setups. While the reel isn't going to blow you away with high-end refinement, it’s plenty smooth and reliable, and the rod itself offers solid sensitivity for the price point. If you want a versatile, no-fuss rod that performs well without needing a massive investment, this combo is a total workhorse that earns its spot in the rotation. You can't complain about the look if you are a true patriot!

I purchased this because I love Kastking! I actually promote your stuff on my tiktok and other social media. I received this rod , and I think I was sent something that was returned. The drag system was completely binded up. So I reached out to try to get it replaced , and it is a frickin' nightmare. I was asked to make videos, i was asked to return the entire freaking thing when I only needed the reel! So you want a review....... i will never order anything from Kastking website ever again. I will continue using KastKing products but we'll purchase only on amazon. I still haven't received my replacement.

Very smooth, sensitive and just what me and the wife have been wanting. Good job cast king, we are hard on our gear make sure parts are available if we need them..
