works great, but too heavy
This is my 4th Sharky baitfeeder and my smallest at 3000. I use them for both carp and catfish. One of the benefits is the baitfeeder click is loud; much louder than other spinning reels my friends use. I use them almost daily during the spring, summer & fall. I highly recommend them.
Great reels for the price.
Took a while to receive it, haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Feels smooth and can’t wait to try it out.
This is by far the best dual drag/Baitfeeder type reel you can get for the money. I now own 7 of these along with 2 of the original Sharky Baitfeeder reels bought in 2017. I also own 7 of the Pontus Baitfeeder reels for my ice rods because I wanted smaller sizes for those. These reels are all solid and smooth. The only thing I do is add hot sauce reel grease for fishing in extreme cold. Many years ago I bought some high price Penns and Shimanos but now I use mostly Kastking because you get comparable quality for a much more reasonable price.
