I just received and tested it on my back yard. The main complaint is the braking system. It needs on tight settings and precise adjustment. A click on spool tension makes big difference. It is NOT as forgiving as other name brand reel. This reel reminds me some of the Quantum reels I had in the past, same finicky braking system.
Just got it delivered yesterday! Very light in the hand and well-built. Reel seems very smooth and thumb bar very quality in feel.
Awesome reel! Great feel, very light and extremely fast.
This skipping reel is extremely well made.
Have not bought yet, but I fish Lake Sinclair Ga, which is full of docks and boat houses. I primarily own G Loomis rods, but will go with new rods being built by Loomis. What rods are you considering best for Bass under docks with this Skipping reel?
