For ultralight fishing, I actually prefer the 3000-size spinning reels, because they are less fidgety than the truly tiny reels. The 2000-size is still large enough to be comfortable to use all day. When you have arthritic hands, a larger reel is much easier to fish with.
Great Reel !!
Perfect for my ice fishing rods and has a smooth drag. I have noticed that if it is really cold or it has been sitting in snow that the lube gets thick inside of the reel and you feel a bit of resistance but after you spin it a few times it goes back to normal so far no complaints
Reels looks great and feels pretty good. Have not used it yet. Will return to update once used.
Purchased 4 KastKing reels, and the value and quality are great. the only reel I will consider. From ice fishing, ultra-light to bass fishing. never had an issue since purchasing my first Mela 3000 years ago when the company was in infancy
