Braid ready CNC aluminum hard-anodized two tone spool prevents braid line from slipping under pressure, there's no need for monofilament backing, 6061-T6 Aluminum (as used in many automotive parts), handle with EVA paddle grip, brass pinion gear, alloy drive gear with stainless steel insert, stainless steel hardware.

This little reel has served me well for its first Australian Bass season.
I try to get out every Friday after work in the Kayak with a few sneeky sessions in between. I have lost count the amount of fish this thing has bought in and the amount of times it has castes since purchasing just over a year ago. It's my go to for Australia Bass, Estuary Perch, Bream and flathead. I'm about to give it a go for Ludrick.
I love its absolutely amazing for finicky fish fish I use it for trout and it pulls em in smooth and can deal with a fight 10/10 recommend

This is a very solid 1000 reel. Casts great and it is very versatile. This reel is definitely worth what you pay and is better than some of the more expensive reels that I've owned. When I hook a fish, I know I don't have to worry about the reel failing.
