Royale Legend Patriot Twin-Tip Baitcaster Rod and Reel Combo

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I had to write one for the KastKing Royale Legend Patriot.
I absolutely LOVE this combo. I fish with my family all the time, and out of every rod I’ve owned or used, the Patriot has quickly become my favorite. It feels great in the hand, casts incredibly smooth, and has made using a baitcaster genuinely enjoyable. The American flag design was originally what caught my eye, but the performance is what completely sold me.
I liked it so much that I’m already planning to buy TWO more Patriots. That probably says more than anything else I could put in this review.
This was also my first experience that really made me pay attention to KastKing as a brand. If the rest of their equipment performs anything like this combo, I definitely want to start trying more of their products. I fish with my son and family, so our gear gets used—not just looked at—and the Patriot has earned a permanent spot in our lineup.
KastKing, you absolutely knocked this one out of the park. You’ve gained a new loyal customer, and I’m excited to see what else you guys make.
10/10. I would recommend the Patriot without hesitation. 🇺🇸🎣

Love the look, feel and performance of the reel! I’m not at all a fan of two piece rods so I didn’t use the rod. The rod looks nice but I wish this combo was available with a one piece rod option. Reel is on a patriotic red BPS platinum signature series rod and I love the look! Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and this product!

Kast king royal legend rod and reel combo is a must have. My choice 6,6 medium action perfect for my kind of fishing which is in the streams chasing small mouth bass. The reel is super fun the drag ticking lets u know when to add drag or come off drag. I love it. You will too.

I got this combo about a week ago and I have caught over 20 largies on it and 3 of them over four pounds and it handled the great. Plus the clicking drag is just THE BEST add on. Needless to say I'm very impressed and will continue to buy products from this company!

I have not fished in over 15 years if not longer and have no experience with Baitcasters. I've been wanting to get away from social media and connect with nature and i came across your company on a few youtube channels and i must say with a little youtube research's on how to work these properly i've got the hang of it pretty quick, i had a few backlashes in the beginning but that's natural when your in a learning process but since diving deep into it i have not experienced any backlashes it's an amazing product and i plan to buy a few more from you guys in the future.

So I did a land test dry run on the Royale legend patriot and right from the jump zero backlash with the brakes set at 9. So I decided to back them to 6½ and again no backlash. My confidence grew bolder and I set the brakes at 5 and no backlash! It did cast out about 75 yards so now I'm ready to take her out to the water. I did a video review on my YouTube channel with the dry land test and I think the next one will be epic, trying to catch a 5 lbs bass.
