Our S45 steel material provides a great balance between performance and durability. This very hard material delivers the optimal force to grip and easily remove hooks without damaging or deforming the jaws. Our durable Teflon coating adds a hard protective shell and also helps to resist corrosion.

Ergonomic textured handles offer the comfort and maneuverability you need, while the serrated jaws allow you to securely grip any diameter hook for easy removal. Some models we have also incorporated crimping slots for building leaders or crimping weights and bait tuning grooves so you can tweak your baits to ensure they are swimming straight and true.

On select models you will find tungsten carbide side cutters which can easily cut mono, fluorocarbon, and braided lines. These anvil style cutter blades resist rust and the side cutters allow you to cut close to knots when needed. Designers have also incorporated a raised surface behind the blade to eliminate the problem of your line dropping below the cutting zone.

love these pliers - well made just like everything from KK!

Look like they are built ok, but it is false advertising. Not 9 inches long. 8.75 inches at best

Based on the high product reviews i gave this brand a try and am happy to say that it was def worth it. There are other options that are a few dollars cheaper, but this tool does not disappoint. Right out of the gate the pliers feels solid, function smoothly and feels great in my hands. I have that awkward size of Sm-Md size hands and these work great. They even work on heavier duty split key rings with ease. Would def buy from them again if needed.

I've so far only used these pliers to setup my Texas Rigs with split shot weights ill typically use for Central Texas bank or kayak bass fishing, However the length, weight and ease for pinching weights & cutting line (along with several other multi-functional features) has already impressed me.
We'll see how they do in the field, but their length and sturdiness are going to make them my EDC pliers on all fishing outings should they continue to perform as expected.

Initially, I bought this plier for heavy duty split rings on some outrigger clips. Unfortunately, this plier didn’t open the thick gauged wire. But this set of pliers is still very useful for most other split rings. Works great on keychain rings and triple split rings for attaching treble hooks onto lures. I think this tool excels at cutting fishing line. The flat tip screw that holds the plier together keeps the blades tight. This allows for easy and clean cuts on mono and braided fishing line, even the super thin braided line cuts no problem! While the smaller plier has its limits on opening heavier duty rings, it a great cutter for all types of fishing line. With its integrated hook tightening loop, this multi-use plier is very helpful when it’s time to rig up.
