AGGRESSIVE “DIAMOND WEAVE”

Thin but exceptional strong "Diamond Weave" is incredibly tough and abrasion resistant. It is the perfect braid for the toughest fishing conditions such as heavy cover, vegetation, rocks, and underwater wood structure, outperforming any 8 strands braided line on the market.

SPECIAL COATING

KastPro is coated to be color fast and has better abrasion resistance. Other brands use a water based coating which tends to merely rest on the surface of braid line and is naturally repelled by the braid material. This results in color fading and reduced abrasion resistance over time. The KastPro process uses a bio solvent based coating that penetrates and wicks into the braid for a more uniform coating with better color, coating life, and increased abrasion resistance.

Super thin and strong!

First thing I notice on this braid is how thin it was. I was able to fit 300yds of 30lb on a Daiwa saltist 15 ( that's the smallest of the saltist line) and have plenty of room for 25lb top shot. It felt a little stiff for being 8x finesse, I assumed it would be smoother, but thats maby because it's new. Can't wait to try it out

Very strong line but much thicker that the stated diameter

I bought this line (15 lb version)not for fishing but actually for sewing. It is strong - without knots I was able to suspend 15lb on it without a hint of breaking. However it is much thicker than the stated diameter of 0.15mm. It is certainly close to twice this size (spent 15 minutes measuring it with the highest quality digital calipers) which explains its strength. I knew before hand based on reviews that the line would be thicker - just was not sure it would be closer to a 100% thicker. Almost all manufacturers provide incorrect data so it was expected actually. This line is equivalent in thickness to TEX 69 nylon line while being much stronger. So it would allow me to use smaller needles for my project! I hope this information would be useful. Also the shipping was incredibly fast - thank you!
