I have many KastKing reels and they are truly awesome. First time with one of the rods and I have a concern. The two pieces don't sit flush when you put them together which is what is keeping me from fishing them for fear that they will come apart when I cast.
Bought the heavy combo and it's just been a fish slayer. I use it mostly when fishing rapids on the river. Smooth retrieving and casting can't go wrong getting this one
KastKing Lethal Blaze Twin-Tip Baitcaster Rod and Reel Combo
This thing casts like butter. The reel's smooth and I can toss light baits a mile! Only fished with it twice thus far but the drag is perfect and zero backlashes. Its got plenty of backbone which was a concern for me since I rarely use a 2 piece rod, but fear not. It's sturdy and hooksets are solid. This combo will always be on my boat! If you're on the fence, just do it. I have several combos that cost twice as much and this set up is better than half of them. Only wish it had come out sooner, I'd have bought a few more.
Great combo with no backlash but very difficult to get together. Hard to seat the top piece flush
It casts amazing. It has a really fast real. It looks great It’s comfortable in your hand and I caught easily five or six pound crappy on that thing two days ago i’ve took it out fishing easily 20 to 30 times already. I’ve gotten fairly good at casting it and it took me probably 40 cast to get somewhat good at it after about 60 cast. I can throw it out there and never get a bird nest throwing it out with a not too hard of a cast easily 20 to 30 feet. The furthest I’ve gotten it was probably 50 feet. easy to learn and again it’s comfortable and I’ve loved it. The only problem I had with it was the tension knob. I accidentally backed it off too far and it fell off thankfully I found it. That was my only issue you need to be careful with that. I think it’s a grey combo if it’s your first bait caster. Some tips if it’s your first time set the tension knob to where it just slowly drops down, not too slow, not too fast and then adjust your magnet so that way when it hits the ground, it comes to a complete stop just slowly turn the brakes up until it comes to a complete stop whenever you hit the ground and after a while of casting, just loosen the tension knob up a little bit that way you can get better cast and eventually you can turn the brakes down and the tension knob to where it’s perfect and also, I would recommend putting braided line on there because it’s easier to get unnested if you ever do get one hope that helps.
