Got to use my new setup it looks amazing and it’s handling is awesome definitely going to buy another set up
Have caught so many fish since I got it. There’s a bit of an adjustment period and yes it is on the cheaper side and there are more options out there including other KastKing products but for the price, versatility and strength it IS worth it. Used it with all sorts of lures and fishing styles from Ned rig and finesse to swimbaits and jigs. If you’re not too sure if casting rods are right for you, this is a perfect combo to find out. Tune your skills and it’ll be easier and easier to cast and catch you a big one.
So I actually bought the wrong combo I wanted 7” Medium/Heavy but I got a 6’6” Medium Fast because I fat fingered it and clicked the wrong thing so that was my error but other than that the combo still has been extremely good for me and the reel is smooth! Even my wife who’s NEVER used a Baitcaster can cast without having a Birdsnest over all Great combo and I will be buying again from KastKings again
Instructions were somewhat easy to read Im not done setting up fully but the rod is so pretty and feels relatively smooth for a beginner the quality feels good for price it should be able to do its job well
