Good reel

It's big and slow, just what I wanted. I'm using it for deep cranks and have it on a 7'10" rod. It holds a lot of line. The handle is wicked nice. It's not a palm sized reel unless you have huge hand's. It's really smooth, casts super far, no reeling fatigue thanks to over sized reel crank. Compared to throwing deep cranks on my original set up (7.5-1 smaller reel, and 7' medium action rod) this is heavenly. Would be really good reel for big swim baits or slow rolling big spinnerbaits as well. Between the over sized handle, and the lower gear ratio this reel is a joy to throw deep hard pulling crank baits with. Please bring back the elite reel exactly the way it was.

Weather to cold the past few weeks for me to use it. That said, I now own 3 Megatron 200 Baitcasters, and the matching Spinning Reel. I also use their Line.
Now, to agree with a couple of other Reviewer's pertaing to the Progressive Glass Series, to offer a 'True Muskie Rod' they need to lengthin' the Rear Handle to (16-17-1/2 in., The Industry Standard!!!. If and when they do, I would order a couple providing they make them in BLACK to complement The Rover [****] series.
