Haven’t got to use it yet but just on looks alone this thing is beautiful. If you’re not sure about what size reel to get I got the 2000 and it seems a little small. I’m sure it’ll do the job just fine but if I could do it over I’d probably go to the 3000 or even 4000. I own a couple of KastKings and like them all.
Bought the Royale legend spinning rod and reel for my girlfriend. I tried it out and will be buying a combo for myself ASAP! Smooooooth reel and incredibly sensitive rod. The grips are well, grippy and comfortable. Great rod and reel for the cost.
Great rod, I’ve spent some serious money on rods before and this one is right up there on quality. The color scheme is unique and that’s why I purchased initially, but since then I have found success with fishing the drop shot for the first time with this set up.
Just looking at the reel and rod, I am quite satisfied with the operation and feel of the combo. I cannot give a complete review at this time since I have not spooled the reel and used it yet. I’m hoping Waiting for another order of fluorocarbon line to be delivered.
