Spartacus II Twin-Tip Spinning Fishing Rod and Reel Combo

Absolutely love the rod reel setup! The Weight, The Feel, the smooth reel action the whole kit is amazing! Cannot wait to catch my next PB with it!

I purchased the 6’ 8” medium light spinning combo and so far it has blown me away. I paired the combo with kastking’s 13x finesse braided line 10 lb test and used a 6 lb fluorocarbon leader. Even though it’s a 2 piece it’s still insanely sensitive, you can feel even the lightest of bites from baby bass while dropshot fishing. It can cast lures as light as 1/16 oz super far and smooth and I haven’t gotten a single wind knot yet. So far I’ve used it for finesse swimbaits, shaky heads, wacky rigs, Ned rigs, and dropshots. It’s held up to countless small bass, an absolute slab crappie, a pickerel, and a large bullhead catfish I accidentally caught while bass fishing. If you are looking for a budget finesse combo then I definitely recommend the Spartacus II spinning combo.

This rod and reel are great handles heavy baits or small baits no problem at all. Hasn’t had a problem with any fish I’ve caught this far plan to keep on catching them. Thank you kastking

Blown away by the quality of this rod/reel combo. You even receive an extra top half with your purchase. I never heard of the company and figured I would give them a shot. I purchased some 6LB and 8LB mono and it is amazing. I think its my favorite combo set I have now but for a fraction of the price the some other brands. Good packaging for shipping. Not joking about High Quality.****UPDATE**** after a week of good use I have found this set up to be my main rod. I usually bring 3 to cut down on time for lure changes but I would rather snip and tie with this rod. I like it so much I came on here to purchase 2 more so I can see how it handles a little lighter line. Prices have gone up. Maybe we shouldnt give such good reviews but they are still well worth $110. I dont think you can touch a reel this nice for under $75 and you get two rod tips. For my original price I might have took two more but just going to get another one at the price increase. Im impressed by the line 6&8 mono. Going to try a braided this go around. Impressive quality

Excellent setup with smooth operation and casting. I set this up differently than I have done spinning rods in the past, I went with a monofilament backing, 15# Spiderwire EZ braid, then a 10# mono leader to attach the lure to. I felt like the medium action was very good for the 2# bass that I was catching at a little farm pond. Very enjoyable to use.

I used to build my own fishing rods and something I dislike about mass-produced rods is that the manufacturers never seem to line the guides up with the spine of the rod. This rod was no exception. Both end sections have the guides 90 degrees off to the actual spine. While it probably doesn't make much difference in the end, it would be nice to have the rod working at top performance.

Anyway, it's a very good setup and visually appealing. I went with the 3000 series reel since it is virtually identical in size to the 2000 but has more line capacity.
