I own a couple Loomis, 8 St Croix, and a friend of mine told me to check out the 7' 1" Wide Eye, Medium light extra fast. It is my go to rod now. Best rod for the money out there.

I ordered a two piece, but received a one piece.

I planned on using the new KastKing rod for my Boundary Water's trip over the past week. I could have sworn I ordered a 2 piece rod, but a 1 piece rod arrived. With the way we portage, 1 piece would break. The rod feels and looks great though. Unfortunately, the way I fish and travel, I can't use a one piece.

I just received the rod and it appears to be well made and high quality.Very sensitive but strong and light weight.Components are good quality and hopefully the blank will hold up to a test in Canada very soon.It appears to be a well made rod at a fair price. A rare combination these days.
