Robust Body Design

Crafted for resilience and power. The CNC aluminum frame construction flexes its muscle in the face of adversity, while the carbon fiber rotor reduces weight without compromising durability. Fortified by a die-cast aluminum handle arm and T-shaped handle knob that provide a secure grip for efficient retrieves and unyielding control. The high-capacity CNC braid-ready aluminum spool eliminates the need for mono backing when spooling braided lines.

Very Nice but...

In 55 years of fixing fishing reels, tournament walleye fishing on the MWC, PWT and MWT with 20 plus years as a retired A2LA Metallurgical Engineer, this reel is as nice as anything I have ever taken apart. A Rockwell Hardness test in HRB scale for the CNC drive cut gear and pinion gears is out of this world. I bought the 2500 size and IT is definitely the size of a 3000 series reel. I'm going to buy the KK Royal Legend Pro 2000 size reel and see what it has going for it. Any CNC cut main drive hard brass gear is 500% better that Zinc pot metal alloy cast main drive gears made by every one else's spinning reels. A SUPER GREAT REEL for less that $100 AND I ENDORSE IT. No other spinning reel made today come close to it.

Kapstan SE 2500

Look. This is a very solid reel. super smooth. just a tank. However, a 2500 series should not be this heavy. KK, you all can do much better than this. I have competitive 4000s lighter than this thing. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE REVISED EDITION!!

I haven't got to use it yet, so far it seems like a well made reel. It is very smooth. Other than it being a tad on the heavy side I think it's going to be s solid reel for fresh and saltwater
