Broke in the Kapstan SE 4000 and the progressive rod
The reel is really smooth and holds a lot of line but the 2500 is the equivalent of 4000 size for any other brand. This one is also twice as heavy as any other inshore reel I have so it is a little tiring to cast for long periods with it.

This reel is just as good as the Kapstan Elite!! I can fit 300 yards of 80 ib line on this bad boy at least. Reels smooth as a champ! This thing smacks for the price! You might even be able to reel in a whale!
