Convenient

Besides the obvious advantage of easy travel over the traditional 1 & 2 pc fishing rods, they save valuable fishing time because you can leave the reel on the rod, line through the guides and fully rigged. Simply open the bail with line through the guides and hook attached, extend the rod to its working length and you'll be fishing again in seconds without re-rigging. Telescopic rods are portable, convenient, and easy-to-carry. Travel anywhere with your Blackhawk II travel rod.

Superior Quality

The entire series of spinning rods and casting fishing rods makes a great travel fishing pole or back-up telescopic fishing pole.

Quick Assembly

Extending the rod starts at the tip section! As shown in the image, extend each section while aligning the guides one section at a time. Simply extend the tip section until it stops, align the guides to the tip top guide and repeat with all sections. To collapse the telescopic fishing rod to its travel rod length, start at the bottom of the rod and collapse each section with a simple twist as you work your way to the tip of the fishing rod.

Compact and effective

This is a great option for a rod that can be carried everyday in the truck for those unexpected opportunities without compromising quality and performance.

I’m impressed

Tried out my 7’ medium action Blackhawk rod with a vintage Garcia Mitchel 300 reel and a 5” worm. I caught 2 bass and one was 19 1/2” and the other was 21” I had great control with the rod and acted like a one piece rod.
Great to have in the car at all times !

Tips snapped

I left a review saying these held up well. Unfortunately both tips snapped off by the end of the week. I’ve been using very light tackle on therm both catching maybe 1/2 lb fish.I bought them about ten days ago :(

Blackhawk II telescopic rod is not a joke!

BlackHawk II Telescopic rod is not a joke. Many were commenting it would break easily as it's a telescopic rod. It's been more than two years and the rod still performs best. Caught these hard fighting fishes without any problem. Used it in saltwater too. The best thing i like about the rod is it's lightweight. Only 164 gram. Biggest fish caught with this rod is 8lb. Hoping to hit double digit soon. Paired it with Royale Legend 2 200, offering Plenty of drag to fight these hook bending monsters. Only problem I faced is with the rod guides while folding it back after a fishing session. Because of applying too much force i damaged the floating guide. That's probably my mistake. All in all very happy with Kastking products at affordable price and good quality. Hope to see Kastking entering Indian Market soon. Love from India.

Dang, for a teloscoping rod, I am happy. I had low expectations but needed a rod that I could fly easily with. I've taken it to Alaska, Florida, and Canada. I've caught walleye, drum, pike, bass, perch...some decent sizes too. No issues at all. It does take some time for the eyelets to align. I have found the more I used it without collapsing the better the eyelets stay in place. I wish I had a good carry case which is a struggle to find. I paired the rod with the Kast King Megatron 4000 reel. Love the set up. Now I am not a fish everyday kinda gal, but these trips were enough to show me this pole is great for me. I have had the pole for about a year now. No defects that I can see. Take care of your gear and it will last a long time.
