Foldable & Retractable
Using a u-shaped design net hoop, the KastKing Brutus landing net features a push-down switch for a convenient storage. This switch was connected to the net frame and reinforced with four stainless screws. Quickly and easily pull down the release button to retract the net frame. In addition to the retracting handle, the net frame folds in half to reduce the size for easy storage and transportation.

Bought the 45” silicone net for kayak fishing and love it. Well made and sturdy, it’s a bit heavy but I’d rather have a little extra weight and not flimsy. Collapses and folds for travel but locks securely. The net material is easy on the fish and less prone to lure tangling. Overall, a great net for kayak fishing. With a longer handle it would be fine for a boat.

KastKing Brutus Foldable Extendable Fishing Net
I bought this net hoping it would be better than the last two nets of other brands I have used. This net delivered! It folds and unfolds very easily. The extendable handle is a plus. But the best part would have to be the silicone netting. A lure with many trebles will NOT get tangled in the net causing havoc and having to waist time on the water trying to get the lure out. My last net I had to cut holes in the net in order to free the lure it was tangled so badly. Highly recommend this net.
Have used it several times and found it to be very sturdy and the extendable handle allows adjustment to the conditions encountered out on the water as I hoped. The silicone netting is stiffer than traditional string type netting and tends to float a bit when entering the water to net a fish but only took a few uses to adapt to. The big advantage is that hooks rarely become entangled in it thus making the time to unhook a fish and return to fishing much faster.
I originally wrote a 1 star review because my net didn't work properly. Kastking contacted me and offered a refund or a replacement. I was wary, but chose a replacement and I'm glad I did. The new net works perfectly and I realized a part was missing that caused the first net to fail. I'm a happy camper now due to Kastking's excellent customer service. Thank you !
