Contoured EVA Handles and Fighting Butt
We finish the rods with contoured EVA handles and fighting butt, so the rods feel great in your hand and provide all day comfort and a sure grip while providing for a perfectly balanced rod. Split rear handles are used on the 6’ to 7’ all-purpose combos and full-length EVA handles on the 7’6” medium heavy action combos which are perfect for catfish, salmon/steelhead or other large fish.

Reel sizes start at a compact size 2000 and go all the way to a powerful size 4000 that is perfect for the 7’6” medium heavy action rod intended for Catfish, Salmon and Steelhead.

Ordered the centurion lite bait caster for myself and two of the centurion spinning combos for my two teenage sons and I will say by far kastking quality is amazing very well built rods! Great combo, handles fish amazingly and looks beautiful.
Great rod for what you pay! I bought the 6'6" medium rod with 2000 reel as my 2nd rod. Rigged it with 10lb braid and 6lb leader. While trout fishing today, I caught something massive on my ultralight that snapped my line. Threw this bad boy out there and caught my personal best: a 9.2lb carp! Rod and reel held up like a champ and now this rod has earned its keep. Thanks Kastking!
Great set up and looks even better
I am really impressed with this fishing rod and reel set. The quality of the product is great and it looks modern, stylish, and good-looking. Most importantly, it works extremely well. I find it to be incredibly smooth when casting, and it has a great casting distance. I can also recoil the braid and nylon in seconds. Overall, I am extremely happy with this set and believe that it is an excellent choice for anyone who loves fishing.
I was able to get out on the lake this week and give this rod and reel a good test. The rod length of mine is 6' spinning combo and the rod responded very fast action. The reel connection knob is of quality hardware that should last. The reel cast like a dream with 4lb line. The bail does not like to close easily when you reel but some would say you should always close the bail manually anyway. The combo is well balanced and feels comfortable in your hands. The bright white stands out as a unique setup, if you are like me with most rods being black, so this combo works great if you are looking to grab a certain configuration when you have multiple rods. Overall, first impression is very positive, and I would not hesitate to recommend.
