So far so good!

I have enjoyed my MegaJaws bait casting reel so far.
It took a little “tuning” of the spool and braking system, but it’s doing a great job. I recommend it, highly and look forward to testing its longevity.

Being a Shimano guy, I though twice before purchasing this reel knowing that it couldn’t be smoother than my reels. So when it came in the weather was bad for fishing, so I rigged it up and through it across my property wait to see what kind of backlash I would get. I got nothing , it’s a smooth reel that casts just a far as and smooth as my shimanos. I’m impressed, I’d buy more but I have too many reels as we speak. Awesome reel guys.

Top notch reel

I was a Shimano guy until I bought this reel. Smooth, great distance and easy to throw, even with a light lure. Love it! Cannot wait to take it to Mexico where we catch over 100 fish per day with many in the 6-8 pound range.
