Megatron 200 Baitcasting Reel

i flipped my kayak in june of this year lost this reel went back today wich is now sept26th and fisbed it out when the water was more shallow cleaned it up with some vinigar for the rust and alchole to get rid of gunk and it works perfect now

Megatron landed big redfish and black drums with ease! A big 2 foot ray tested its power! My fav inshore set up!

This reel is very good. My only issue is the knobs fall off easily. I lost one after the first time I used it, and the other is loose, I had to use locktite to secure it on the reel. I did contact kastking about it and they told me that they sell replacements, so that’s what I ended up doing. I would have thought they would just sent me the part cause it was such a recent purchase and it was after the first use. 4 stars tho…

This is extremely smooth real and the drag is quite plenty I enjoy it so much I had picked up another one

I loved this reel so much that I actually made a review about it on my YouTube channel. Like I said in the title this is the most budget friendly bigger size baitcasting reel I have ever seen. The only reel I can really compare it to would be the Lews Super Duty, which don't get me wrong is an amazing reel, but cost upwards to $300+ and not everyone wants to pay that. Making the KastKing Megatron a perfect budget friendly reel. I would 100% recommend this reel to anyone!

When I first saw the specs on this reel last year I was a little skeptical of the fact of a small graphite bait caster with 28.6lb. drag, so I ordered one along with a Gomexus carbon handle and a 7'6" Whisker Seeker.
This trip we targeted red grouper and hogfish this reel handled every fish I hooked not one glitch at all. After that trip I intentionally took the set up and placed it in the garage no clean up no anything, I wanted to see how it would handle the abuse (I also ordered 5 more reels and some rods from Kastking). I had 5 more trips planned in July 2025 this reel did not fail or let me down in anyway. I'm posting the hottest trip we had with our limit of reds , you have all of my business from here on out.
Thank you for an awesome product!!
