Purchased the Kastking Pond Hopper fishing sling tackle storage bag, second time out it started to rip where the sling attaches to the bag. Returned the bag and got another one, after a few fishing trips, same problem the sling in ripping from the bag. Cheap made and Defective. Custom service advised that my warranty was out even though they replaced the first one said that the date went back to the original purchase not the replacement bag date. Want be purchasing another.
I've had this tackle bag for almost a year now. I fish almost every day and it's held up great. It will hold 3 3600 tackle boxes but I usually put 1 or 2 in the back pocket and my soft plastics, leader, scale, lip gripper, pliers, and scissors in the front pocket. I usually put several face masks (to prevent allergies) and a spare pair of socks (I get my socks wet all the time) in the clear zipper pockets. I was walking back to the car from my fishing spot once when a storm hit. I got all wet, the outside of my bag was completely wet, but the inside was bone dry. My only complaint was that my roomba ate the spring that holds the strap on the bag. I also have another kastking tackle bag that came with 2 extra springs so I took one of them and fixed my pond hopper.
Kastking Customer Care Team, After using my Pondhopper sling tackle bag on a couple of light trips, I noticed torn hole emanating by the seam of the bag. I notified Customer care and they said it was probably a manufacturing defect and promptly sent me a new bag, but it was the Bait Boss Tackle Sling bag. Not the Pond Hopper. Anyways, great 5 star Customer service, but I was sent the wrong replacement. Sincerely, Daryl C.
Kastking design team, I just received my pond hopper tackle sling as I needed something small for short trips at the river or local ponds. After two trips I noticed a hole on the bottom of the bag. I was surprised at how weak and not reinforced by the seams, as the bottom layer of material is so thin and weak. I do not recommend. It's better to go for the bait boss tackle sling, made much better and the bottom base layer is substantially thicker, although smaller It's better made. I gave the first one I purchased to my wife and thought the pond hopper would be larger and it was, but very cheaply made. Big disappointment. Sincerely, Daryl C.
Perfect for travel up river, through trail to water or around rough spots where a small bag is better and hands are free. Carries plenty of fishing gear plus pole sections.
