Got my delivery today of my Royale Legend Pro combo Drop Shot Rod and Reel. I like the reel, looks great, spins great, as far as once I hook up on bass, we'll see.
I'm disappointed in the 2 piece 7' 2" drop shot rod. I have used 2 piece rods in the past bass fishing and I have had terrible luck with them.
I'll look for a 1 piece drop shot rod from another manufacturer or have a 1 piece custom built.
Some kid that pan fishes will enjoy me giving them the Rod.
I decided to give KastKing a try for the first time in 2026. I've got 2 reels so far and may purchase a Royale Legend Pro baitcaster. But I'm going to completely out on their 2 piece rods though.
Nothing personal but I just don't trust them due to past failures of 2 piece rods. Plus I've failed to get a good quality tournament rod in 2 pieces.
