This is my fourth and fifth reel I have purchased from KastKing I love everyone of them great quality and reasonable prices and when it's time for new ones I will buy more great products keep up the great work and keep the costs down

A Modern Ultralight Reel

I bought the Centron 500 on a whim, and because I needed a backup to my Quantum, made in the late 1990's. This new reel by Kastking outperforms my old Quantum by a lot. The rotation is balanced and ultra-smooth. There is no play when you crank backwards, and the drag is good. A reel like this would cost at least a hundred U.S. dollars in the late 1990's.

KastKing Centron Lite/Centron 4000 and 5000

I purchased one on amazon, one on kastking website. I have not used them yet, planning on using them this weekend. The reel seems pretty solid. The motion is great, spins many times smoothly with 1 turn of the crank handle. I like the colors of the reels. Its the exact same reel with different color, only difference is the spool size, which I was kinda disappointed, because I got the 4000 thinking the reel was smaller, but after purchasing and researching which I should have done first, I would have know the only difference was the spools size, not the size of the actual reel, but saying that, they are both nice reels, can't wait to use them this weekend. I am hoping to get A LOT of years out of them, I fish mostly salt water in South Carolina, N. Myrtle Beach. I have read other reviews on amazon saying they didn't do well, lasted 2-3 fishing outings, but that was not the majority of users, so "Catch em' Up"

Great reel for price point

Purchased the Centron 3000 to pair with a 7ft medium heavy inshore rod. Spooled with about 150 yards of 20lb braid and Dacron backing (can certainly spool more braid if needed). Casts 1oz spoons easily and the retrieve is very smooth. Only used a couple of times but so far performance exceeds the price. Liked it so much I ordered the 4000 model.
