This little reel has served me well for its first Australian Bass season.
I try to get out every Friday after work in the Kayak with a few sneeky sessions in between. I have lost count the amount of fish this thing has bought in and the amount of times it has castes since purchasing just over a year ago. It's my go to for Australia Bass, Estuary Perch, Bream and flathead. I'm about to give it a go for Ludrick.
I love its absolutely amazing for finicky fish fish I use it for trout and it pulls em in smooth and can deal with a fight 10/10 recommend

Ok, so yesterday I went saltwater fishing off the bank down at Mission Bay (San Diego) I brought this reel with me in case I wanted to throw a lighter 3/16oz jig head with underspin with a small paddle tail. I wasn't having any luck with my other lures etc. I switched to this reel and landed 3 different species in 4 casts. First was a 12-13 inch spotted bay bass. The fight was on and this reel was a blast to fight! This thing casts very far, farther than my Sharky III. It handled smaller saltwater fish with no problem. I understand it's not made for saltwater but I wasn't in the surf. I simply brought a bottle of freshwater and rinsed it off after I was done. I'm so impressed with this little reel. Go buy one folks!
I purchased this recently a long with the Zephyr 1000. This is my first SFS reel and I absolutely love it. I paired it with 8lb braid and 4lb leader on a 7'6 UL rod. I am amazed with this reel. I will be purchasing more.
