Zephyr Dual-tip Baitcaster Rod and Reel Combo

I didn't get to use my combo very long at all. First and foremost, it wasn't the rods fault at all. I have 10lb braid and it happened so fast, because my line got tangled in the trolling motor. Winds were heavy and I couldn't cut my braid fast enough, and snap. At least I have the M tip to use.

This Charter Captain loves our Kastking products and is 💯 behind the quality you provide!! However, the package we received was damaged in transit. No fault by Kastking. Not sure how the product will preform with said damage until our son try’s to fish with it when we start our 2026 season in the spring. Hopefully, it will perform after going through the combative holiday shipping like it did. Either way we’re loyal Kastking fishing products and we’ll continue to use their products daily during our charter season!!

So i purchased this combo about 2 weeks ago and i didnt like it and heres why, theres so many other combos you can get with the price of this rod, but one thing that stance out the most out of all the rods is the dual tip. for medium or medium heavy. the casting is smooth, with flouro or braided, i used 30lb braided , then i switched it to 15 flouro seagar. and let me tell you the casting distance was the same on both. which is pretty far. i feel like its not even the type of line, but the quality of it. i am very satisfied with this purchase and for it to be my first baitcaster i feel like a pro already with the breaking system it has and the easy to use adjustment knob, its great overall best purchase.
