I bought this rod specifically for my trip to Canada, to use for walleye jigging. It was paired with 1000 Piscifun Carbon X II Spinning Reel and Kastking SuperPower X8-Camo Braided Fishing Line 6lb test. At one beautiful moment i taught i got a snag at rocky bottom , but i results after about 35-45 min of "fight" i landed 39' Northern approximately 16lb.
I am was surprised and impressed with the quality this rod, because she bent almost in 180, but no problem at all with the rod. Feels solid and very light, the grip is really comfortable. DEFENATLY worth the money!

I can't review the spinning rod because I was given a casting rod instead. I will keep the casting rod because I can use it with the spinning rod is what I really needed.
