Better than expected. Quality item at a great price.
Great fishing line. Nice and supple. It's incredibly tough with very little memory. Bought this for a recent trip to Florida. Was pulling a 6-in swim bait on 14 lb line and caught my personal. Best bass 5.84.
Used this line as a tippet and loved it and so did the fish but would prefer a smaller hole in the dispenser to stay on the tippet holder.
I gave this fluorocarbon line a try and was very surprised.
The leader was very supple and has held up as well as many of the higher priced leader material in my bag.
I will definitely be buying this product in more strengths.
I have always been pleased with the quality, and value Kast King provides in their products. This leader material is no exception. Even at 50# test, one can easily tie the knots needed to connect to other tackle with total confidence.
I use their line on my reels, and as leader material with never a problem.
I picked up a KastKing Royale Legend II Baitcaster recently that I have been running with 20pound braid. It has been working great but wanted to try something different so loaded it up with KastKing Kovert Fluorocarbon because seems to be a popular choice for bass'in around.
So far, seems to be working great. Nice casts, smooth retrieves, and many fish!
Knots are a bit more difficult then the braid but that has been my experience with all flouro... no breaks on the knots though so this appears to be good stuff from my use.
