I just received the rod and it appears to be well made and high quality.Very sensitive but strong and light weight.Components are good quality and hopefully the blank will hold up to a test in Canada very soon.It appears to be a well made rod at a fair price. A rare combination these days.

I own 4 different WideEye models and my fishing buddy has over 5. We are always telling are friends how great these rods are. Light weight to fish all day, super strong to handle 10+ lbs. walleye, yet very sensitive to feel the most subtle bite. The reel seat and grip fits the hand better than rods twice the price! Caught this 31" on my new 7'1" ML WideEye spinning rod, might be my favorite model yet.
