First time out, 3 keeper reds and keeper flounder. No problem at all with 14lb mono and light action rod. Could use a lil bit more magnetic braking as i was at 9 for a 1/8 belly weighted hook and 4in paddle tail. gave it a lil spool tension with no back lashing. Rinsed off and opened up for inspection. No water inside. Gave it a drop of ReelX on each bearing and in the one way clutch. Ready for next trip. I have a feeling this Spartacus II will last with proper care.

Recieved the reel in a fashion time. Nicely packaged. Reel seems to work ok. I think the drag could be better . Over all i don't think this reel will handle any large fish .more of a lite tackle reel.

I bought 3 R90 reels Very Nice!!!
Each reel Held 440 yd of big game mono tryline line. Casting and retrieving very Smooth With no backlashing. I had a little trouble with shipping and tracking.
