If you’re new to bait casting or a seasoned vet. This thing provides. I legit never get backlash or bird nesting. I’ve caught some monster with this guy. If you’re on the fence about trying it out don’t be. Get it and get use to it. You'll be thankful in the long run.
I own and have used multiple KastKing reels, but never one of their more premium offerings. With the majority of their "budget" reels you get what you pay for- great reels but with a shorter life span. That's not the case with this one. It has a lightweight aluminum alloy frame and carbon side plates that makes it the lightest, but strongest reel that I own. This reel is so smooth too and will cast a country mile!! I would honstly say that it offers the same, if not better, performance than the highly coveted Shimano DC that so many fishermen gravitate towards. And the $99 price is an absolute bargain for the reel that you are getting.
This brand is great. This reel is nice great reeling speed and ratio.
Nice baitcaster, feels smooth. I haven't used it yet, I need to get a rod for it. Kastking makes a decent product for a reasonable price.
A nice looking, well-made, solid, and smoothly operating reel reasonably priced at $100. I found this reel to meet my non-pro needs just fine.
